I have been told that men are visual beings, that they respond to what they see, not what they know. Does that explain why a man will see a photo of a lovely woman, but not read the attached profile, not respect her wishes regarding height, weight, smoking, and so on? Is he just so intent to have that vision of loveliness attached to him in any way possible that he totally disregards the balance of her profile?
In my opinion, that is either sheer and utter self-centeredness or ignorance or both.
